The kids can also ride on Sylvester and Tweety’s Ferris Wheel or Taz’s New York Adventure. There are also plenty of other rides that will spin, twist and fly the kids into a magical adventure throughout the day.

Eurocopter AS350

American Eurocopter

Grand Prairie-based American Eurocopter said Wednesday that it has received a $20 million order for six new AS350 model helicopters from Pylon Aviation, an Arizona-based independent aircraft company.

American Eurocopter said the AS350 is an upgrade of the company’s top-selling single-engine aircraft.

Pylon Aviation is a full-servce aviation company that helps individual operators navigate flight instruction and hire pilots, outfit helicopters with avionics and customized equipment and interiors and maintains the aircraft, according to a release from American Eurocopter.

Kimbell Art Museum

Louis I. Kahn designed and opened Kimbell in 1972. This American architect created one of the best architectural achievements of the modern era. Recently announced, the Kimbell will be playing host to approximately 100 internationally renowned works of art from the Art Institute of Chicago. A 4 month traveling exhibition will open in October and the Kimbell will be the only museum that will host this traveling exhibition. You won’t want to miss this wonderful opportunity!

Philip Johnson designed this Museum that houses a permanent collection of 19th and 20th century paintings, sculptures, and works on paper. There are nearly 400 works of are by two of the greatest artists of the American West: Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell.

Although audiences of all ages will enjoy this museum, it was designed with kids in mind. The museum houses dinosaurs, science exploration, the Noble planetarium, and the Omni theatre. The Omni theater was the first IMAX dome in the Southwest, featuring an 8 story dome and a 120 foot screen. The Noble Planetarium features a huge domed video and fiber optic, dual hemisphere star projector which projects more than 7,000 stars. Up to the minute views of the sun can be seen in the planetarium’s exhibit area. Make sure to experience the Laser Light show on Friday and Saturday nights.

Over 150 years of history are featured over 10,000 square feet. Numerous interactive displays are available such as the virtual ranch and audiences of all ages can round up cattle on their own cattle drive.
